Chaska holds a 200hr Hatha/Vinyasa certificate from House of Om.

When she was fourteen years old Chaska started practicing yoga at home, after a family member recommended it to help with her anxiety. Two years later she stepped into a shala for the first time a 'teenage yoga' class and experiences for the first time the importance of a teacher that sees you and guides your practice.

Over the years yoga took the shape of a safe haven as Chaska traveled around the world, lived abroad and encountered at times period of emotional difficulty and grief. The yoga mat would be unrolled anywhere, allowing the practice to remind her that the body is indeed a safe place to be.

In her teaching she strives to have eye for the individual, through gentle support and adjustments and to foster a feeling of safety in which this ancient practice, together with its aspects that go beyond asana, can be explored and returned to time and time again. In that, the connection between breath and body is key.

You can meet Chaska on the mat for her weekly Vinyasa Intermediate class, and as a substitute teacher for Vinyasa Basics, Early Morning Vinyasa Flow, Early Evening Flow, Relax Flow
