Reconnect with joy, and grow through experience—not information overload.

Hey Yoga Teacher, Is This You?

You've been teaching for a while but feel ready for fresh inspiration

Teaching can sometimes feel lonely—you miss real interaction with colleagues.

You want to embody what you already know, not collect more theory.

You’re ready to teach with more confidence, clarity, and authenticity

You want honest feedback and space to explore your unique voice

What Is Teachers Lab 108?

Teachers Lab 108 is a professional laboratory for yoga teachers.
A place to explore, practice, reflect, and grow—together.

The program is offered as 5 standalone workshop modules.
Join one module, or combine several to create your own learning path.

THE 5 WORKSHOP MODULES

The Art of Asana

Assists, Alignment & Intelligent Use of Props

Develop sharper observation skills, safe hands-on assists, and purposeful use of props.

Refine your language and learn to give individual attention with ease.

This module is an in-depth exploration of how we see, support, and guide students in asana. You’ll refine your observational skills, learn safe and effective hands-on assists, and explore how props can support different bodies, needs, and stages of practice.

Through practical exercises and real teaching scenarios, you’ll develop clearer cueing, more confidence in offering individual attention, and a greater sense of ease in responding to injuries, pregnancy, and diverse abilities—without disrupting the flow of class.

The Self-Led Teacher

Confidence, Clarity & Sustainable Teaching

Explore limiting beliefs, performance pressure, and self-doubt.

Cultivate a grounded, self-led approach to teaching and leadership.

Teaching yoga requires more than technical skill—it requires inner leadership. This module focuses on the internal patterns that shape how you show up as a teacher, from performance pressure and self-doubt to boundaries and energy management.

You’ll explore a self-led approach to teaching that supports clarity, resilience, and authenticity. Through reflection, dialogue, and shared inquiry, you’ll learn to meet challenges with steadiness and to teach from a place of trust in yourself rather than expectation or comparison.

May 29–31, 2026

The Anatomy of Asana

Understanding Function, Injury and the Science of Yoga

Explore how joints, muscles, and connective tissue function in yoga postures.

Develop a clearer understanding of movement and alignment to support safer, more intelligent teaching.

Deepen your understanding of the body in yoga practice and teaching. This workshop explores the anatomical foundations of movement in asana, helping you see beyond shape and alignment cues to understand what is actually happening inside the body.

Rather than memorizing structures, you’ll explore how joints, muscles, and connective tissue function in movement—and how anatomical differences influence the way students experience postures. Through discussion and experiential exploration, you’ll gain insights that support safer practice, clearer cueing, and more intelligent sequencing.

Expect a practical and interactive approach that connects anatomy directly to the reality of teaching and practicing yoga.

12-14 June 2026

Living Philosophy

From Yogic Wisdom to Embodied Teaching

Learn how to weave yoga philosophy into your classes in a way that feels natural, relevant, and inspiring—without sounding scripted.

This workshop supports you in bringing yoga philosophy off the page and into your teaching in a way that feels natural, relevant, and alive. Rather than memorizing concepts, you’ll explore how philosophical themes can inform your language, class structure, and presence.

You’ll practice sharing short reflections and dharma talks, learn how to weave philosophy into asana and breath, and discover ways to speak from personal experience—so philosophy becomes something you live and transmit, not something you explain.

September 11–13, 2026

Voice & Vibration

Harmonium, Mantra, and Expressive Teaching

Discover chanting and playing the harmonium—from beginner basics to heartfelt and devotional expression—

and explore how mantra can support your teaching.

Sound is a powerful teaching tool. In this module, you’ll explore the use of voice, chanting, and harmonium as a means of connection, grounding, and expression—no prior musical experience required.

You will be guided through the fundamentals of mantra and harmonium playing, as well as the more subtle aspects of using your voice with confidence and presence. This workshop invites you to explore sound as an extension of your teaching, whether you choose to chant regularly or simply deepen your relationship with voice and silence.
