This picture was taken one year ago, just two days before the opening of the studio on 18 April 2022 - the 108th day of the year: our teachers team came together to initiate the studio with their intentions for our cozy yoga shala 🙏🏻. A few words about love. In yoga, love is not depending on things or people outside of us. It’s not based on ‘identity’ and the roles you play - as a mother, son, the profession you exercise, whether you’re a house owner or not. In practicing asana we honour all creations of the universe: a dog, a tree, a locust, a cobra, a mountain even. Although these are different shapes and forms, the essence is the same. Love is this sense of oneness with everyone and everything surrounding you - and it comes from within. So maybe don’t let yourself be pulled into this commercial thing that we call Valentine’s Day 😅. Just dedicate your practice to someone or something outside of yourself.
