Yukali has been fascinated by the body and its potential for as long as she can remember. Her first introduction to Yin Yoga came during a dance program in the United States, where she immediately felt its value as a perfect complement to more dynamic movement practices. What began as a physical practice soon evolved into a deeper exploration, inspiring her to expand her knowledge of yoga and meditation. Yukali completed her Yin Yoga training with Ram Jain at Arhanta Yoga in Arnhem and deepened her understanding through Paul Grilley’s teachings. She also holds a 200-hour Vinyasa Yoga certification from Johan Noorloos at De Nieuwe Yogaschool in Amsterdam.
For Yukali, the fusion of breath and movement in Vinyasa Yoga creates a sense of freedom and creative expression—similar to dance. This practice allows her to stay fully present, attune to her body, and use the energy within as a form of self-expression.
In her classes and workshops, Yukali focuses on themes and places great importance on personal attention, ensuring each participant feels truly seen. She finds great joy in sharing the transformative benefits of yoga, guiding her students to experience these practices.
You can join Yukali every week on Monday evening for a sweet Relax Flow class. Next to that, she might be subbing for Vinyasa Basics, Vinyasa Intermediate, Yin Yoga or Early Evening Flow.
