As a quite sensitive person in a quite overwhelming and fast paced world I began looking for something to calm myself, connect with my body and let go of that rush. During that time of investigation I found yoga. It truly became my anchor in my busy life as a theatre teacher and actress. I mostly work with kids and teenagers, and that can sometimes be intense. So yoga is truly something I come back to every day. It’s not only the physical practice itself, it has become a way of living for me now. The philosophy and the way of yoga have become entangled in my life.

I became a karma yogi at Studio 108 because I was looking for an intimate and personal yoga studio in Amsterdam. Compared to the bigger studios with a lot of people and less personal connection, I felt the need to find a place that was more personal and also a yoga studio that really works from the philosophy of yoga. And 108 was the perfect match for me.

You can expect a happy face behind the desk. With a smile I will welcome you. And if you’re in for a talk, yes, I would love that! Meeting new people at the yoga studio is the best 😉
